The house

We are a small studio: a pattern room, a fabric library and a shipping bench, in that order of floor space. Everything is drawn here and made by six workshops we have worked with since the beginning. We visit each of them twice a year.

Design starts from wear rather than from a mood board. A coat is drawn around what goes in its pockets, a knit around how it sits after a hundred washes. That is slower, and it is the reason the range is small.

How we work

Fewer, better

Two collections a year and nothing in between. A piece enters the range when it earns a place next to what is already there, not because a calendar says so.

Named mills

Wool from Biella, cotton from Osaka, cashmere spun in Inner Mongolia. Every fabric on a product page names where it came from, because a fibre percentage alone tells you very little.

Made to be repaired

Seams are finished so they can be opened. Buttons are stocked for a decade. A coat that can be mended is worn twice as long, which is the only sustainability claim we are willing to make plainly.

Journal

Notes from the studio: fabric trials, mill visits, and the occasional piece that did not make it into a collection and why. Published when there is something worth saying, which is roughly monthly.

The journal is not part of this demonstration build. In production it is a separate content source rendered through the same design system.

Careers

We hire rarely and keep people a long time. Open roles are listed here when they exist; speculative notes from pattern cutters, garment technologists and repair specialists are always read.
